著名开源BitTorrent客户端 Vuze (旧称 Azureus 毒蛙，3.1版开始正式改名为Vuze) 刚刚发布了最新的版本4.4.0.0， Vuze是一个基于JAVA的BitTorrent客户端，故支持Windows，Mac OS X，Linux，Unix等几乎所有操作系统。并且支持I2P和Tor匿名网络，支持基本的irc聊天命令，加入了好友系统，你可以和其他人互相加为好友，分享torrent文件，并且能够加速下载速度。还添加了文件浏览页面，可以找到你想要的资源，可以对资源进行评论和打分。Vuze能够自行当tracker，容许用户自行分享文件而不需要上传至任何网站。而用户亦能通过加入不同的插件以加强其功能。Vuze使用自己的DHT模式，因而不兼容布莱姆·科亨（美国程序员，“BT之父”）的BitTorrent或BitComet等使用的DHT网络Mainline DHT(mlDHT)，但可以通过下载插件来兼容。
